Wii had so much fun with you all over Christmas break! I'm SO glad everyone got to be there!

I think this video of Mom playing the Flying chicken game on the Wii is hilarious! So I thought I'd share! :) 

St. George Parcour Weekend!

The first weekend in December, Chris and I had a chance to get out of the very cold and into the still a bit cold but not too cold, by visiting Josh and Meisha at their new place in Ivins. We didn't take pictures all weekend (as evidenced by the absence of Meisha and myself from these photos), but I did manage to capture a few candid moments during a hike we took. After spending some time on youtube, Chris and Josh decided that they want to become hard core parcour athletes and started practicing their new sport every chance they got. =)

For viewing the photos it really works out best, especially for the action shots, if you view them from the bottom and go up. (I'm still learning how to post for blogs) Enjoy!

These panoramics are a setting on my cell phone camera...the lighting was dark, so it was hard to line up just right, but I think you get the idea anyway from the photos that turned out.Looking up from the place we stopped. This was all that was left til we'd hit the top. Even though we were close, we decided to save the rest of the hike for another day, as the dark clouds were rolling in and the cold winds were picking up. The last part of the hike was slippery from the loose rocks and sand, and very steep, so we knew we'd have to take it slower on the way down and didn't want to have to do it in the rain...

Top Secret: ACTWF & Pirates

So...I wanted to ask Craig to a dance. Most of the family pitched in to make it a lot of fun! Sara and Chris helped with the secret set up of it all. It began with Craig opening the door to "Mission Impossible" theme music and Chris's toy helicopter flying toward him with a secret note. Well maybe "flying" is exaggerating a little. It more like buzzed on the ground due to technical difficulties. (See video at the end) The secret note informed him of a hidden DVD made by Tiffany.

Here's Craig watching the amazing DVD while wearing his spy glasses. The dvd led him to a scavenger hunt where he discovered that he was being asked to a dance. Lots of fun! Thanks for your help everyone! :)

Then Chris and Sara joined us for some homemade Cafe Rio and a good game of pirates!

In September Dad and I had the incredible opportunity to
travel to Sydney, Australia (a 20 hour flight)!!! Due to Brent's
pure genius we stayed in the perfect hotel, in the perfect
location. It was close to everything we needed; grocery store,
train, bus and ferry stations. We took advantage of it all!
We love to explore when we travel and so that's what we did!
Here are a few photos to share. Dad has tons more, I will
try to get him to post them.

Brighton Camp Crazy Counselors!

Rach and I have been up at camp for about 3 weeks now and loving it! Last week was Superhero week (hence the fun outfits). Mom made my Legend (Indian) Costume in half an hour! Thanks mom! :) It's very tiring taking care of about 10 twelve year olds each week, and at the same time it's a lot of fun! You get to know and love each girl individually, and when they go home on Friday it's hard to imagine they're going back to their original mom! I've learned so much Spiritually and a lot of skills I'll be able to have for life!
